The Running Club is an after school running program that is a fun way to promote physical fitness in our 3rd – 5th grade students. It allows them an opportunity to learn proper training techniques, pacing, cool down, and stretching. We also teach them life skills through character education that will help them build their own self-confidence, encourage others, and celebrate their successes.
We meet each Monday, starting in September, from 2:45-3:10pm in our fitness room and do our running activities outside or in the gym as weather allows.
Students who complete the program will receive recognition for participation, and we will have a celebration at the conclusion of our club meetings.
