First Grade
First grade is a very busy year! First
grade teachers are very excited to have the opportunity to work with
your child. We hope each year will provide a foundation needed to
continue through life as a learner.
Concepts
focused on are reading, adding, subtracting, time, measurement, money, handwriting, and phonics. A variety of units incorporate science and
social studies skills.
